WEEK 1 - We arrive in Cape Town and stay in a hotel for two nights. Form the splendor of Cape Town ; we visit the Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain before heading north towards Namibia . Having crossed the border, we enjoy canoeing on the Orange River and visit the second largest canyon in the world, Fish River Canyon .
WEEK 2 - Further north the Namibia Desert offers us the chance to see and climb the immense sand dunes at Sossusvlei, reputedly the highest in the world. Camping in the Namib-Naukluft Park we can appreciate the grandeur and stillness of the desert. From the town of Swakopmund we drive north, stopping at the fur seal colony at Cape Cross .
Continuing to the Brandberg Mountain , we trek to see the Bushmen paintings before entering the stark beauty of Damaraland, we divert of route to see the ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, before arriving at Etosha National Park .
WEEK 3 - In this superb, remote park there are many species of animals that may be seen including lion, elephant, rhino, gemsbok and kudu. While here we will camp near a waterhole and can watch the animals coming to drink at our leisure. We leave Etosha and traverse the Caprivi Strip to reach Botswana . Our safari in Chobe National Park will be in Land rovers (or similar) and sometimes hundreds of elephants can be seen drinking from the Linyanti River . A boat trip here should allow us to see a wide variety of birds and other wildlife including hippo, crocodile and buffalo along the water's edge.
Day 21 - We enter Zimbabwe and drive to Victoria Falls where there is enough times to see the falls from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides.
Day 22 - The tour ends in Victoria Falls in the afternoon.

Day 1 - Arrive in Windhoek , the capital of Namibia , and stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 2 & 3 - Leaving Windhoek we drive to Sesriem on the edge of the Namib Desert , where we camp for two nights. Nearby Sossusvlei is located amongst immense sand dunes separated by flat inter-dune valleys. The dunes are said to be the highest in the world, and we explore this area of desert stillness and breathtaking vistas on foot.
Day 4 & 5 - We journey across the desert through remote passes to the northern end of the beautiful Namib Naukluft National Park , making camp for the night in the wonderfully peaceful Swakop River Valley . During our time hire we will visit the lunar landscape of " Moon Valley " and see the remarkable 2000-year-old Welwitschia plants. Leaving the park behind we reaches the South Atlantic coast and, after visiting the lagoon at Walvis Bay , we overnight in chalets at Swalopmund.
Day 6 & 7 - Driving north along the coast we visit the Cape Cross Seal Reserve where thousands of Cape Fur Seals can be seen at very close quarters. Heading inland we come to the Brandberg Mountain where we camp overnight. An hour's walk along a valley floor leads us to the famous 'White Lady' Bushmen painting. Further inland, at Twyfelfontein, we find some excellent examples of rock engravings and paintings dating back thousands of years. After seeing the most impressive of these ancient symbols, we camp on the banks of the dry Aba Huab River .
Day 8 - We drive to our next campsite at Palmweg Lodge in Damaraland. During our afternoon game drive we hope to see the rare black rhino and desert elephant.
Day 9 & 10 - We drive to Etosha National Park , spending two nights at Okaukuejo Camp, which has a superb floodlit waterhole. There are many species of animals to be seen on our game drives in this remote park, including lion, rhino, gemsbok, elephant and greater kudu.
Day 11 & 12 - Our game drive takes us from Okaukuejo Camp to Namatoni Camp, in the eastern end of the park. We hope to see a wide variety of animals and birdlife around the waterholes on the edge of the great saltpan.
Day 13 & 14 - Leaving Etosha we drive to the Waterberg Plateau Park and set up camp for two nights. This large flat-topped plateau has a number of endangered species, which are being protected, among them roan and sable antelope and white rhino.
Day 15 -Return to Windhoek where our tour ends after lunch.
Tour Style:
Traveling in an 11-seater purpose built safari vehicle with an experienced leader/driver and second crewmember. While camping you are expected to put up your own tent and help load the vehicles. Cooking and other camp chores are taken care of by the crew.

NA 03) 8 DAY DESERT & SKELETON COAST SAFARI : |
Day 1: Depart from Windhoek and travel towards the Naukluft mountains.
Days 2 & 3: Morning hike in the area before heading on towards Sesriem . A full day is set aside to spend at the beautiful Sossusvlei dune area to climb dunes, visit Dead Vlei, see some desert adapted fauna and flora.
Day 4: Travel north-west, via the small village Solitaire for the next night stop. Travel via the Kuiseb canyon and gravel plains to the next night stop.

Day 1: The guide will meet his guests at the airport , transfer to Windhoek and overnight in the hotel for the first night.
Day 2, 3 & 4: Travel north via Otjiwarongo to the Etosha National Park . These days will be spent on game drives and game viewing at waterholes. All the park camps have floodlit waterholes for game viewing at night.
Day 5 & 6: Exit Etosha today and travel south west to Damaraland via Khorixas to arrive at Twyfelfontein mid-afternoon. A full day is set aside to visit this beautiful area, home to the world renown desert adapted elephants as well as other game, dune fields and interesting sites such as the rock engravings/paintings, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes.
Day 7: Travel south past Brandberg (highest mountain in Namibia ) to the Spitzkoppe granite outcrops to see some more bushman paintings. From here on to Okahandja (woodcarvings) and on to Gross Barmen hot spring resort.

NA 06) 15 DAY WILD DAMARALAND & KAOKOLAND: |
Day 1: Clients
will depart from Windhoek and travel via Okahandja
to Gross Barmen.
Day 2: Depart after breakfast
and travel west via Karibib and Usakos to the Ugab
River . The route will go via the beautiful Spitzkoppe
granite hills (bushman paintings) and semi-desert
to the western side of the Brandberg , highest mountain
in Namibia .
Day 3: This day is set aside
to look for, and track, the endangered Black Rhinoceros.
This area is the last place left where these magnificent
animals still roam free. Also a very good opportunity
to see the desert adapted elephants.
Day 4: Travel north through
this stunning area to Twyfelfontein to see the rock
engravings and paintings.
Days 5 to 12: These days will
be spent travelling north through Damaraland and into
Kaokoland . Interests will include the desert adapted
elephants, a variety of other animals such as Oryx,
springbok, giraffe, birds and if lucky, the evasive
Hartmann's Mountain Zebra. The scenery through this
region is stunning, a photographers haven! The actual
itinerary will depend on distances travelled for the
day but will include areas such as Purros, the Hartmann's
Valley, Marienfluss, Orupembe, Epupa Falls as well
as to visit a number of primitive Ovahimba villages.
Day 13: Travel south to Opuwo
and then on to the western side of Etosha.

Day 1 & 2: Travel south from Windhoek towards the Namib Desert via the beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass to arrive mid-afternoon. A full day is set aside to visit the beautiful Sossusvlei area for dune climbing, photography, visit Dead Vlei, Dune 45 as well as an excursion to Sesriem Gorge.
Day 3 & 4: Head north-west to enter the Namib Naukluft Park again at the Kuiseb Canyon . Detour to visit the prehistoric Welwitschia Plains as well as the Moon Landscape before arriving at the typical German town Swakopmund. Day 4 will be spent in the area with a visit to Walvis Bay ( lagoon and bird colony), curio shopping and, if requested, to partake in a wide variety of optional extra activities such as scenic flights, dune driving, tandem skydiving, boat cruise in Walvis Bay harbour and lots more.
Day 5 & 6: North along the Skeleton Coast to visit the seal colony at Cape Cross and then inland to Damaraland. Again a full day is set aside to "explore" this area where interests will include visiting the rock engravings and paintings, Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes as well as a nature drive over some dune fields to look for the world-renown desert adapted elephants and black rhino.
Day 7: Break camp and travel north to the Palmwag / Sesfontein area. The route will go through "etendeka" (flat-topped) mountains with a good possibility of seeing some free roaming game.
Day 8 & 9: Enter Kaokoland today travelling via Opuwo (Herero word meaning, "all finished") and Okangwati to the Epupa Falls on the Kunene River , which forms the border with Angola . These days participants will have the opportunity to visit some primitive Himba villages, hike along Kunene River , swim in rock pools as well as general relaxation of some hard driving!
Day 10: Travel back to Opuwo and then on to the western side of Etosha (outside the park).
Days 11, 12 & 13: Enter Etosha National Park where these days will be spent on game drives, game watching at waterholes and at camp floodlit holes.
Day 14: Today travel back towards Windhoek to arrive at the overnight destination mid-afternoon. Relax at the swimming pool.

Day 1: Travel south from Windhoek for the first night stop.
Day 2: Depart after breakfast and travel south to the Fish River Canyon area. On route, visit the Quiver Tree Forest .
Days 3 & 4: Early morning visit to the canyon area before heading west to Aus, through barren, but beautiful desert landscapes. A full day is set aside for an excursion to Luderitz to see the Kolmanskop "Ghost" town, Diaz Point and lots more.
Days 5 & 6: Travel north along the edge of the Namib Desert through some stunning landscapes to arrive late afternoon. A full day is set aside to visit the beautiful Sossusvlei area for dune climbing, photography, visit Dead Pan, Dune 45 as well as an excursion to Sesriem Gorge.

NA 09 ) 3 DAY NAMIBIA SOSSUSVLEI LINK TOUR |
Day 1 . We depart Windhoek at 09h00. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Windhoek . We then traverse the Khomas Hochland highlands until we reach Spreetshoogte Pass. This is one of the most stunning viewpoints in Namibia and we will stop here for lunch before descending to the Namib Desert . After stopping at Solitaire for a drink it is on to Sesriem. Day 2 . We are up well before dawn to drive out to Dune 45 to watch the sun come up and have some breakfast. It is then on to Sossusvlei and the world's highest sand dunes. There is time to spend the morning walking and marvelling at the incredible scenery. These magnificent dunes with their endlessly changing colours and contrasts are an amazing experience. The afternoon is to relax and/or take a dip in the pool - later followed by a visit to Sesriem Gorge. Driving time approx. 2hrs (120kms). Sesriem: Communal ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 3 . After breakfast we leave Sesriem and make our way back, once again through the Highlands . Our route is not the same as the journey down but the scenery is equally amazing. Lunch en-route to Windhoek and we will arrive at approx. 15.30. Driving time approx. 5hrs (350kms) (BL).

NA 10) 3 DAY NAMIBIA ETOSHA LINK TOUR |
Day 1 . We depart from Windhoek at 09h00, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Windhoek . We head north through several towns, Okahandja and Tsumeb and on to Etosha. We will have lunch en-route and arrive at the entrance to Namutoni by mid-afternoon. We must return by sunset to the campsite, your guide will organise your supper, cooked over an open fire. There is a floodlit waterhole at this camp so the evening can be spent viewing game if your choose. Driving time approx. 6.5hrs (550kms). Namutoni Rest camp: Communal ablutions/camping (LD).
Day 2 . It is up early and after a quick cup of coffee your guide will take you for your mornings game drive. Etosha has over 300 types of birds and most of Africa 's big game so today should prove to be exciting. Return to camp to have a good breakfast and then pack up so we can spend the rest of the day game driving over the West side of the Park. Good viewing at the floodlit waterhole, famous for its black rhino population. Game driving (120kms). Okaukuejo Rest camp: Communal ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 3 . Our final day, we do have time for an early morning game drive, return for breakfast, pack up camp and leave Etosha. Lunch will be served en-route home, stop at Okahandja to view the wood carvings. Arrival time back in Windhoek at approx. 17h00. Driving time approx. 5.5hrs (450kms) (BL).

NA 11) 7 DAY NAMIBIA NORTHERN TOUR: |
Day 1 .
1 You are collected from our accommodation between
08:15 and 08:30 . Final packing is done at the Wild
Dog Safaris base before we journey out of Windhoek
and head north through Okahandja, where there will
be a short break to see the wood carvers. We continue
on to the Okonjima Farm, home of the Africat Foundation,
where we will set up our camp and have lunch. The
afternoon will be spent learning about and seeing
the work of Africat in re-introducing cheetah and
leopard to the wild. This is a great opportunity to
see these magnificent animals at very close quarters.
Driving time: approx. 3.5hrs (250 km). Africat Foundation.

Day 2 . We get up for an early morning
bush walk and, after breakfast, we pack up camp and
head on to Etosha National Park , where we will arrive
in time for lunch. In the afternoon we will head out
for our first game drive in order to spot some of
the hundreds of species of animals and birds, which
inhabit the Park. We return to camp by sunset, and
after dinner we can spend an evening game viewing
at the floodlit waterhole.
Driving time: approx. 4hrs (350 km). Etosha National
Park - Namutoni. Communal ablutions / camping. Breakfast,
Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3 . After breaking camp, we have
a full day of game driving heading west across the
park. We have lunch and a short rest along the way
and then continue our game driving, arriving at Okaukuejo
in the late afternoon. This is our camp for the next
night. The floodlit waterhole at this camp is renowned
for the sightings of black rhino and elephant and
is a fitting end to another exciting day in Etosha.

Day 4 . Today we continue our game
driving with a final morning in the Okaukuejo area.
After packing up camp, we leave Etosha and go in to
Damaraland. It is an easy drive down to the town of
Outjo where your guide can re-stock with fresh produce
and you can relax with a cup of coffee in the Etosha
café. We then head west to Kamanjab and to
our camp at an Ova-Himba community project. There
is time to walk and enjoy the area before settling
down for the night.
Driving time: approx. 6 hrs (270 km). Ova-Himba community
camp. Communal ablutions /camping. Breakfast, Lunch
and Dinner.
Day 5 . In the morning we visit the
Himba village and learn something of the lives of
these proud, semi-nomadic people. It is a fascinating
glimpse into their culture and history. After lunch
we pack up and head across Damaraland. In the afternoon
we visit the ancient site of Twyfelfontein to see
the Bushman paintings and rock engravings carved into
the sandstone. It is a very interesting area, made
even more spectacular by the amazing rock formations.
We then have a short drive to our camp.

Day 6 . Our day starts by travelling
through the Namib Desert to the Skeleton Coast National
Park and the South Atlantic Ocean . Our first stop,
after leaving the Park, is the Cape Cross seal colony,
where thousands of fur seals congregate on a rocky
point. It is quite a sight to see so many of these
animals at such close quarters. From here we go straight
down the coastal road to Swakopmund - Namibia 's premier
holiday resort, nestling between the Namib Desert
and the Atlantic Ocean . You may explore the town
on your own and either dine together, or on your own,
at one of the very good restaurants in town.
Driving time: approx. 6hrs (380 km). Swakopmund. Chalet
Accommodation/communal ablutions. Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 7 . There are many activities
available in Swakopmund: dune-boarding, quad-biking,
flights over the desert, skydiving or simply enjoying
the sights of the city. There is also a very good
museum and an aquarium in town.

then drive back to Windhoek , arriving about 17:30
.

NA 12) 7 DAY NAMIBIA SOUTHERN SWING : |
Day 1 . You are collected from your accommodation between 08:15 and 08:30 . Final packing is done at the Wild Dog Safaris base before your journey takes you out of Windhoek and on to the southern highway. The Kalahari Desert is on one side with the central escarpment on the other. We pass through Rehoboth, the capital of the Baster people and also stop for lunch en route before reaching our camp at the Quiver Tree forest. These are fascinating 'tree aloes' and quite unique to this part of the world. This is a lovely setting to see the sunset and enjoy your first evening under the stars.
Driving time: approx. 6.5hrs (500 km). Quiver Tree forest. Communal ablutions / camping. Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2 . After packing up camp, we go to see the nearby Giant's Playground before continuing our journey south through the town of Keetmanshoop , past the Naute Dam and down to the Fish River Canyon . Here we have lunch overlooking the Canyon, enjoying the awesome views. Our route then continues south all the way to the Orange River , Namibia 's southern border. It is an amazing sight to see green vegetation and flowing water! We organise our camp on the banks of the river and enjoy an evening completely by ourselves in a very tranquil setting.

Day 3 . After a very pleasant morning on the Orange River , we head north into the desert again. Our route takes us past the zinc mines of Rosh Pinah and Scorpion and up to the small town of Aus. Our camp for the next two nights is right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Namib Desert . There is time for an afternoon walk up some of the surrounding hills to watch the sunset before dinner around the campfire.
Driving time: approx. 3.5hrs (150 km). Klein Aus. Communal ablutions / camping. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4 . An early start is required so as to make the most of our day in and around Luderitz. We travel across the diamond "forbidden zone", where we may see the wild horses of the Namib. Once in Luderitz, there is the option of a boat cruise to see the Jackass penguins and Heavysides dolphins. Later in the morning we visit Kolmanskop Ghost Town, a totally deserted diamond-mining town that is being slowly swallowed up by the encroaching sand dunes. Lunch is at your own expense either in Luderitz or at Kolmanskop. In the afternoon we have the chance to go to Diaz Point and explore some of the rugged coastline around Luderitz. We return to our desert camp by late afternoon, for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 5 . Today we head north along the edge of the Namib Desert . It is a lovely drive with fabulous vistas at every turn. Lunch is en route and there are plenty of photo stops. We arrive at Sesriem in mid-afternoon in time for a swim before heading out to Elim Dune. The campsites are under ancient camel thorn trees and the setting is spectacular.

Day 6 . We are up well before dawn so that we can drive out to the dune fields to watch the sun come up. After some breakfast, we move on to Sossusvlei and some of the world's highest sand dunes. There is time to spend the morning walking among the dunes and marvelling at the incredible scenery. These magnificent dunes, with their endlessly changing and contrasting colours, are an amazing sight. You can walk back to the Wild Dog vehicle, or your guide will pay for the return shuttle service, which runs throughout the day. After lunch, we spend the afternoon relaxing back at camp, where there is a swimming pool. Later in the afternoon we can visit Sesriem Gorge.

Day 7 . Sadly, this is our last day on safari, but there is an interesting drive back to Windhoek . We travel up the Remhooghte Pass on to the Central Highlands of Namibia and continue to the Kupferberg Pass overlooking Windhoek . Our arrival in Windhoek will be between 15:00 and 16:00 .

Day 1 . You will be met at Windhoek International airport by your guide. We continue by travelling east to the town of Gobabis and our campsite which is situated on a farm nearby. Driving time approx. 2.5hrs (225km). Gobabis: Communal ablutions/camping (LD).
Day 2 . Our journey continues east to the border with Botswana and after customs formalities we carry on across the Kalahari. These are vast rolling plains and the district is one of the main centres of the beef industry in Botswana . Our camp is situated in the middle of the Kalahari and one can enjoy the solitude and splendour of the African bush. Driving time approx. 5hrs (350km). Thakadu camp: Communal ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 3 . We make our way to the Okavango Delta, en-route we'll have lunch to arrive by early afternoon for our Okavango River crossing. Transfer to a motorboat, this will probably be the first chance of sighting both hippos and crocodile - from the safety of the boat! Make our camp for the evening, close to a local village, a great experience to sample a little of the way of life of these fascinating people. Driving time approx. 5.3 hrs (400km). Day 4 . After an early morning start, our mode of transport is mokoro (dugout canoe), this allows us to travel further into the Delta, a marvellous way to enjoy the many waterways of the Delta and to see such an unspoilt part of Africa . Day 5 . An early morning game walk with the opportunity to see the large variety of wildlife at close quarters. Seeing big game on foot is an unforgettable experience. Return to camp for a big brunch and late rest through the heat of the day. If you wish, it is possible for a poler to take you to a safe place to bath in the fresh, clear water. After supper, there is always the opportunity to talk with the local guides and learn something of their way of life. Delta: Rustic ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 6 . Today, we travel back to our village camp, viewing game and the huge variety of bird life as we go. On arrival at the village camp, there is time to visit the nearby school, and speak with some of the local people. Delta: Rustic ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 7 . We leave the Delta and journey back into Namibia , enter the Mahango Nature Reserve immediately after clearing customs and have lunch on the banks of the Okavango River . After leaving the Reserve it is on to Rundu where we stay at our camp which has a great setting beside the Okavango River . Dinner is out at the nearby Lodge restaurant. Day 8 . Today we head for Etosha , Namibia 's premier game park. There will be a few breaks along the way at various kraals where the Kavango people are producing wood carvings. Namutoni has a floodlit waterhole that allows you to view game during the evening and late into the night if you choose. Driving time approx. 5hrs (320km). Day 9 . Up before dawn to start our game drive and see the incredible scenery, return to camp for brunch and relax through the heat of the day. Time for a swim or some hours spent at the water-hole before our afternoon drive. It is always a treat to watch the sunset from the tower of the old German fort and then enjoy supper under the stars. Day 10 . After loading the vehicle, we start off across Etosha. More and more animals and birds appear and soon it is time for lunch at Halali, the most central of the camps. We will rest for a couple of hours and have a refreshing swim. Continue our game drive heading to the western camp, Okaukuejo, where we spend the night. This camp also has a floodlit waterhole which is a popular drinking place for both the white and black rhino. Game drives. Okaukuejo Rest camp: Communal ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 11 . We leave Etosha today and head to Damaraland. Our route takes us through some picturesque farm country and the capital of the region, Khorixas. From there it is on to Twyfelfontein, a fascinating area where we will take a tour to view the hundreds of rock engravings and imagine the life which must have been here hundreds and even thousands of years ago. Our camp is run by the local Damara Community and is a very pleasant spot beside the Aba-Huab River . Driving time approx. 4hrs (300km). Aba-Huab: Communal ablutions/camping (BLD).
Day 12 . After skirting the Brandberg, Namibia 's highest mountain, we cross the gravel plains of the Namib Desert . Soon, we see the Atlantic Ocean and our first stop is Cape Cross . This is a breeding site for Cape fur seals, numbers can reach 250 000 seals and is an incredible sight. We then head south along the Skeleton Coast to Swakopmund. Here we are in accommodation and we go out to supper in one of the local fish restaurants. Driving time approx. 4.5hrs (400km). Accommodation: Shared facilities (BLD).
Day 13 . It is back in to the Namib Desert today. We will stop along the way to marvel at the Welwitschia Mirabilis. Our journey takes us through varied and fascinating desert to Sesriem; the gateway to the world's largest sand dunes. The camp is spread out under enormous and ancient camel-thorn trees and there is a pool to wash off the dust of our trip through the desert. Driving time approx. 5.3hrs (420km). Day 14 . We rise well before dawn to drive into the heart of the dunes. As the pre-dawn light blushes the dunes, the full impact of this incredible scene begins to hit you and , with dawn, it becomes breathtaking. We walk into Sossusvlei, the end of an ancient riverbed, and climb some of the dunes. The heat forces us back to our camp where we will rest until the afternoon when we will visit Sesriem gorge, a small but fascinating area where the desert has been cut by the force of flood waters. Day 15 . Today, unfortunately, is the last leg of our safari. We bid the dunes farewell and travel back to Windhoek .
